A way that offers you the lowest rate available to fly to your destination and it also allows you to get the services that you really need when travelling. As always, we suggest purchasing your tickets ahead of time so you can always find the lowest rate and you can add all the services that you may need.

Go to volaris.com and on the left hand side, select the Web Check-in option
Remember that once you purchase your tickets on our web site, you will receive your itinerary by mail than you can make your payment. If you don’t have an email account and your purchase was made at the call center, your itinerary will be given to you at the moment of purchase.
If you do not print your boarding pass, you can go to the kiosks or computers to print your boarding pass upon arriving to the airport. Otherwise we will charge a fee for our Personalized Attention at the airport counter
*The fee at the airport does not apply to international flights, flights connecting to international destinations, or reservations that include: infants, unaccompanied minors, groups, medical needs, wheel chairs, or any other service that requires an agent at the airport counter.
You can contact our Call Center so it can be given to you once again. On the day of your flight go directly to the airport and provide a picture ID.
Nothing, it is free for everyone
Yes, you can choose your seat at the moment of purchase, whether it be in the emergency exits or any row you wish. Prices vary according to national and international flights or if you choose the emergency exit.

You can make your payments at Oxxo, Sears, Banamex, HSBC, Inbursa, Telecomm Telegrafos, SafetyPay and Dax. To pay with USD we have the option with Moneygram. Mexican debit cards are not accepted, US Citizens can use their debit card

Changes and Cancellations
- 24 hrs before the flight $500 MXN plus TAX on national flights. $50 USD plus TAX for international flights
- Between 24 hrs and 4 hrs before the flight $700 MXN plus TAX for national flights and $70 USD plus TAX on international flights.

Itinerary changes can be made however they are limited and must be paid for. The charges are as follow:
If you purchased the package “More Flexibility” you will be able to make any changes by making the necessary payments that may apply to the rate once you make the change. You can contact our Call Center to do this.
To change the name on your ticket, you may either buy the “More Flexibility” package during the booking process at volaris.com, or if you already booked your ticket, you can purchase the Name Change service through the Call Center.
To make the name change you can contact our Call Center. Ticket are not refundable or transferable.

Tickets are not refundable or transferable.
Cancellations are not allowed, the ticket is not transferable and the amount paid can not be refunded or used toward another reservation.

If you don’t use your ticket on the date of the flight, it can not be refunded; you will not be able to make use of the service on another flight or reservation. It’s not transferable either.

Luggage
- For checked-in luggage: You are allowed 33 pounds (15 kg)
- Carry-on luggage: You can carry 22 pounds (10 kg)
- Checked-in luggage 62 inches (158 cm)
- Carry-on 45 inches (115 cm)
If you go over the allowed weight, you will have to pay $140 MXN per extra pound on national or international flights.

We recommend that you select the size of the packing materials according to package content. For example, boxes that are not entirely filled may collapse, conversely, those that are too full, may tear. For this reason, we suggest using high quality wrapping materials to ship your goods.
Additionally, we recommend using impact-absorbing material, specifically material that will ensure your content stays in place and does not shift with motion. Select double reinforced corrugated carton boxes, with high quality external edges and close your boxes with resistant straps or adhesive tape to protect your shipment.
Volaris is responsible for complying with liability limitations set forth in the Civil Aviation Act, however if you are interested in acquiring additional insurance, you are welcome to do so under your own personal terms.
We have shipment, messaging and parcel services, whether it be normal or express. The service is provided from the airport of origin to any of Volaris destinations within Mexico. You can contact our shipment area at (55) 5261 6466 or send us email to: cargo@volaris.com.mx
Shuttle
We have shuttle service in Cancún, Tijuana and Puebla.
Shuttle Cancun
Shuttles leave the airport 30 minutes after the arrival of each flight. After collecting your luggage, follow the signs to the shuttle area. Once on board, your driver will record your hotel information and arrange a date and time for pickup.

Shuttle Tijuana
We suggest departing from Ensenada towards Tijuana at least 4 hours 30 minutes before your flight. From San Diego to TIJ, depart at least 3 hours 30 minutes early. Leaving from the airport, allow at least 30 minutes after landing to collect your luggage and follow the signs to the shuttle area

Shuttle Puebla
From the Airport shuttles leave the airport 30 minutes after the arrival of each flight. Collect your luggage and follow the signs to the shuttle area.
To the Airport please arrive two hours and thirty minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure at either of the two locations below. You can check in for your flight, print your boarding pass, and check your bags directly at these shuttle stations.

Special Services

An infant who is less than 2 years old or older than 7 days flies for an additional charge of $365 MXN for national flights or $35 USD for international flights as long as they fly with an adult that is flying with them on the same flight.
A minor 2 years or older will pay normal price, that is to say that they will full price upon ticket purchase.
Warranties
- The gift certificate will be sent to the email address registered upon purchase. The email address must be valid.
- The gift certificate can not be used by anybody else and it will be valid for a full year after the date it was sent to your email. It can only be used to pay a flight service.
- This gift certificate does not include TAX and can be used when making a purchase at our Call Center.
If you purchase this product and you arrive at your final destination more than 30 mins after the schedule arrival documented by the Operative Control Center, we offer you a $1,000 Pesos gift certificate so you can keep flying with Volaris. If you bought a round trip you will receive a gift certificate per trips, only on the delayed trips.
Pets
- In general dogs and cats may only travel in the baggage compartment
- Emotional support animals or guide dogs may travel in the cabin
- Only dogs weighing no more than 10kgs (20 pounds) including the soft crate are permitted to travel in the cabin
- Only cats and dogs are allowed
- They must be in good health and cleanliness

A Volaris agent will give you the correct instructions for how to get to the gate with your dog before boarding
The dog must be inoffensive, free of odor and not require attention during its transport. The dog should also be transported in a vertical position and must be able to move about the crate
By order of the DGAC authorities, you and your dog must be located in a window seat, and the dog must be underneath the seat in front of you in a soft crate closed with a plastic fasten cable.

We welcome your pet at Volaris, for now we only allow cats and dogs to fly as documented luggage as long as they meet all the requirements:
To ensure that your dog or cat can travel in the assigned compartment, the maximum weight including the cage is 45 kgs (99 pounds) and a maximum dimension of 158 linear centimeters or 62 inches
Only dogs weighing no more than 10 kgs (22 pounds) including the soft crate are permitted to travel in the cabin. The soft crate must be 18” long +14” wide +8” tall (45.72cm +35.56cm +20.6cm)
