Volaris allows assistance dogs on board on all its flights as long as they meet the following requirements:
- For emotional support animals
Client must provide a medical certificate either from a psychologist or psychiatrist where he/she states that the animal is part of a mental illness treatment.
- For assistance dogs
Assistance dogs do not require a medical certificate; the client needs to let us know that he/she is travelling with their pet.
In both cases animals must meet all sanitary law regulations. They cannot block aisle ways or travel in the emergency exits.
