Volaris offers personalized travel assistance for Clients who are between the ages of 5 and 11. Clients between the ages of 12 and 18 have the option to travel as Unaccompanied Minors or as adults.

The service provided consists of guiding the Unaccompanied Minor from the origin airport to the destination airport (not including virtual terminals or Shuttle Volaris terminals) and during flight.

Volaris regards minors between the ages of 2 and 4 as Unaccompanied Minors as long as they are traveling with a family member between the ages of 14 and 17 accepting responsibility over the minor. In this case, both travel as Unaccompanied Minors.

The service is regarded as complete upon arrival at the destination airport. There is a $550 MXN* charge for the service on domestic flights and $55 USD* on international flights, per Unaccompanied Minor and it can be purchased on volaris.mx, the Call Center, and Volaris airport counters.

The Minor must arrive at the airport on the day of their flight accompanied by a person over the age of 18 designated as the party responsible for their trip who has to present an official form of ID, in addition to giving their name, telephone, and address. The Minor must also present a form of ID and the name of the third party who is to receive them at the destination airport. Also, and without any exceptions, the person accompanying the Client must declare under oath that their statement with regards to the travel condition of the Unaccompanied Minor is true and that they release Volaris from all responsibility regarding their health condition.

On international flights the adult who is signed as responsible for the minor will fill out all immigration and customs related forms for the countries of origin and destination

Restrictions: this service is limited to 6 Unaccompanied Minors per flight.
