Travel with infants
![]() |
An infant under two and older than 7 days will be permitted to travel at an additional charge of $365 MXN* on domestic flights and $35 USD* on international flights, as long as the infant is traveling with a ticket-paying adult. If you want the infant to travel on an infant seat, please be sure to purchase a separate adult ticket. The only seats allowed in the aircraft cabin are those approved by the FAA for use on board (information can be verified on the backside of the chair). Safety: If the infant is not traveling on an infant seat the adult needs to carry the infant on their lap for the duration of the flight. Traveling with two infants: one infant may travel on the adult’s lap but the second one must pay a regular ticket, and in such case, the infant may receive complete food and beverage services as well as document baggage. Because of the number of oxygen masks available in each Passenger Service Unit (PSU) for supplementary oxygen, only four passengers are allowed to travel on each row. Identification: Please be sure to carry full identification for the infant, which can be a birth certificate or a vaccination letter. Additional Baggage: Clients traveling with an infant are also allowed to check in a stroller and a standard infant car seat at no added charge. For the infant’s comfort, we suggest the accompanying adult bring along all their required food and personal child care items in their carry on baggage. In case of requiring any special attention for the infant, please be sure to speak to a member of the flight crew. |
