Requirements:

  • Carry- on must fit the measuring devise at the counters at the airport.
  • The maximum weight allowed must be 22 lbs.for any carry-on
  • In addition to your hand luggage you can only carry one personal item: such as a back pack, a briefcase, a bag to carry your computer, a purse (as long as between two items they do not exceed the established weight limit).
  • Any piece of carry-on  luggage that exceeds the established measurements must be documented

Note: Clients will not be allowed to board the plane with more than 2 hand pieces.  (in case of the client slowing up with additional bag, the client will have to go back to our counters to document the luggage with any applicable charge), if due to this situation the clients risk not boarding the plane, Volaris cannot be held responsible for the client missing his/her flight.

We recommend packing your most valuable and essential items in your carry-on, such as IDs, passports, medicine, money, keys, perishables, and portable electronics.

 

Pre-board security screening process

To avoid delays while boarding, we ask you to follow these safety measures:

If you transport liquids, gels or aerosols in carry-on luggage, remember that due to new airport regulations, they are only permitted if they are carried in:

  • Containers no larger than 100 ml. / 90 g (3.4 oz) or less
  • A clear, closed, re-sealable plastic bag. (No larger than one quart size)

Note: Only one bag per customer.

 

The following items are exempt from restriction:

  • Infant formula, milk and baby food
  • Drugs with or without a prescription

These items must be declared at security and may be subject to revision, but do not require plastic bag

Note: Checked baggage containing items that are prohibited onboard an aircraft may be opened by authorized security screeners for further inspection.
