Volaris focuses on five relevant areas to demonstrate social commitment, represented in the company’s corporate social responsibility campaign, “Volemos Juntos” (Flying Together):
Leadership
Volaris supports leadership development in youth, with a high level of commitment and responsibility, to positively impact Mexico and ultimately the world’s reality, through participation in forums and conferences regularly held at the country’s most important universities, in addition to offering support in university projects and actively participating in the Leaders of the Future Club.
Health
By signing an important agreement with the country’s Ministry of Health, Volaris supports the healthcare industry, offering assistance in the transportation of organs and tissues that are essential in life-saving procedures, and also supporting patient and physician travel for various organizations.
Environment
Through the Volaris “Por un Cielo Azul” campaign, the company seeks to strengthen environmental awareness and special care for the environment, by implementing solid activities that bring together the participation of Ambassadors, clients, and interest groups.
Foundations and Institutions
Volaris supports different Foundations and Institutions previously selected by a CSR Committee and, according to their particular causes, we seek to partner and strengthen that support to achieve greater impact as a team. Examples include work for Fundación Televisa, Fundación Cinépolis, Asociación Ale, DIF Estado de México, Microsoft, Risaterapia, Teletón, among others.
Projects and campaigns
Volaris supports relevant projects and campaigns that have been selected by the CSR Committee to strengthen company pillars and behaviors and that all contribute to consolidating as a company to strengthen corporate volunteering and offer opportunities so that all our interest groups can participate in these activities. Some examples include Ponle tu Nombre al Avión, DIF Christmas Posada, Vuelos con Causa, Reforestation activities, Tómate la Ayuda en Serio, and others.
